Perceived Time and Learning
Does your age affect how quickly one can learn?
Most of what I've heard explaining why children learn faster is that their brains are more plastic than an adult. The desire to learn things diminishes as one ages and adults have a more difficult time learning a new skill than a child would. There was an experiment run where a parent wanted their children to become chess masters and exposed them to the game early on, with both children becoming grandmasters.
