Inspirations

Certainly not the first person to start documenting their thoughts. Exobrains might be the best description for this collection, but those listed below has more than just what I'm attempting.

Exobrains and the to Digital Gardening

This is also called a . I quite like this idea as it grows over time, the author merely tending to the collection until it bears fruit. The oldest collection of thought, and the first which I stumbled upon, was 's approach to solving for the effective resistance between two nodes in an .

What finally put a name on it was Nikitavoloboev's that finally got me into the idea that this is much more approachable. It just needed to have ideas, not necessarily mastery over mathematics and physics. With all of those ideas laid bare, I thought to myself that I could start putting my own down into words.

For a time, this was public, then private, and now public again. These pages were public originally. but at some point (I forget when) I made it private. As a reflection of my mind, the clutter and disorder made me feel ashamed.

Without order, without guidance, without meaning.

It was Maggie Appleton's that has gotten this back out into the public. Her garden is beautiful. Her garden and her approach in tending to her garden is inspirational.

is important. A little story which comes to mind is a comment Dr. Mills made during Experimental Mechanics. Lecutring about how many data points to take during an extensometer reading, she commented that rather than analyzing the entire video file, simply use a select representative frames. Using the whole video would, indeed, be excessive.
